Hard Coated Acrylic Sheets

Vacuum-depositing ITO coatings onto plastic substrates using a low-temperature process enables us to coat not only flat but also shaped and varying injection molded parts.

Vacuum-depositing ITO coatings onto plastic substrates using a low-temperature process, Diamond Coatings have a flexible substrate handling system enabling us to coat not only flat but also shaped and varying injection molded parts, as well as hard coated acrylic sheets.

Diamond Coatings Inc. offers a comprehensive range of ITO Plastics supplies on substrates including:

  • Polycarbonate
  • Acrylic and
  • Polyester (PET/PEN) Film

In addition, we can also supply ITO coated acrylic or polycarbonate products with additional anti-glare/anti-reflective and/or hard-coat/scratch-resistant coatings.

ITO Coated Plastic Substrates – Acrylic

Acrylic is a useful, clear plastic that resembles glass, but has properties that make it superior to glass in many ways. The main advantage is the weight advantages of acrylic over glass. Our acrylic sheet is hand-made and inspected to very high optical specification. Acrylic is a harder substrate than polycarbonate and offers better scratch resistance, additional scratch-resistant properties can be added along with anti-glare coatings.

We apply ITO plastic hard coating with or without anti-glare properties.

Resembling glass, acrylic is a useful, clear plastic substrate boasting properties that make it somewhat preferable to using glass in many ways, with one of its main advantages over glass being its much lower weight. Hand-made & inspected to the highest of optical specifications, Diamond Coatings’ acrylic sheets are harder and offer higher scratch resistance than polycarbonates and can be enhanced further by application of additional scratch resistant and/or anti-glare coatings.
