Diamox ITO (Indium tin oxide) coatings are created via low temperature vacuum deposition. A transparent, highly conductive coating, the ITO can be deposited onto plastic substrates, including acrylic, polycarbonate and polyester or glass. A flexible substrate handling system enables ITO coating of flat, shaped and a variety of injection molded parts.
Diamox ITO coating can be provided with sheet resistances ranging between rom 2.5 and 1500ohms/square and in sheet sizes ranging up to a maximum of 1000 mm x 1000 mm.
Diamond Coatings can provide fully machined plastic and glass parts, as well as providing ITO coating services for free issue parts.
In order to create fine conductor paths, DIAMOX coatings can also be etched.
Indium Tin Oxide coating wavelength range of 525 to 600 nm, typical peak light transmissions for 20ohm/sq coatings on polycarbonate and glass are 81% and 87% respectively.
Subjection (MIL STD 48497) of Diamox ITO coatings to humidity cycling; salt spray and thermal cycling have provided no evidence of sheet resistance reduction; reduction of adhesion or optical degradation within the ITO coating.
At 1MH and 1GH and using MIL-STD-215 test methods, Diamox ITO coatings offer shielding effectiveness of up to 58db and 26db respectively.
Diamox ITO coatings are suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
We produce an extensive range of ITO, Multi-Layer Anti-Reflection and Index Matched coatings. Many of these coatings are especially designed to match specific optical requirements for customers. We can also provide transmission and reflection graphs for our full range of optical coatings.
For specific optical requirements, please contact our technical team, who will be happy to design and recommend suitable coating solutions to meet your application’s criteria.
