Anti Glare Coating Films Applications

This will come as no surprise, but anywhere that suffers from light glare and reflections – these films can improve optical performance hugely. Common areas of use include retail store display windows, and internal displays, Solar cells also utilise these films to great effect. Smart windows and electronic displays (EP, OLED, PDP, LCD) are adopting the anti glare films pretty much as standard these days.

Other areas include art galleries and museums, for obvious reasons. And sporting stadiums are now using these in VIP glass screened off areas. Domestic use has also soared recently due to the cost and ease of adding these films to framed pictures at home.

More recently, Covid barrier screens also benefitted from the anti reflective and anti glare films. With our films coming with clear adhesive, the barrier screens were quickly and easily adapted to offer less glare, which may have made life slightly easier back then.

Our Diamox AR1617 Anti Reflective coating film is an extremely useful, highly cost-effective solution for large display & digital signage applications, with a reflection of just 0.59% (588nm)

Delivered complete with clear adhesive and protective (both surfaces) films, Diamox AR1617 anti reflective film is available from our online store on rolls (sold by linear metre) with a standard width of 1,250 mm or in a choice of two standard sheet sizes: 1,000 x 1,000 mm or 250 x 250 mm.

We can also offer to provide films to meet customer-specific dimensional requirements and/or directly laminate anti reflective coated films onto preferred substrates.
