Optical Coating Companies
We think it is a fair statement to make that Diamond Coatings are one of the leading optical coating companies, serving customers on a global basis. Our extensive and varied product range has seen us deliver optimum performing products to the likes of NASA as well as many global automotive companies and national health institutions.
With divisions in the UK and Phoenix, Arizona, we are perfectly positioned to supply both our established line of ITO coatings and a range of optical coatings. We pride ourselves on our ability to combine innovation and cutting-edge technology with research and development, which has allowed us to produce an ever-expanding range of quality and diverse products.
With developments such as our vacuum coating technology, a far wider array of substrates can now be used to increase suitability for various projects.
Optical Coating Companies – What we do
We are an award-winning company and serve many differing industries, from entertainment, research and development, aerospace and automotive as well as military and defense. An example of products supplied include heated windows, capacitive switches and conductive PET films.
We also supply anti-reflective coatings and ITO coatings (both available on glass and plastic). We offer a comprehensive range of ITO coated glass, microscope slides and coverslips.
Recently, we developed an anti-reflective face shield which provides an enhanced 97% light transmission, resulting in essentially no reflection or glare from either side of the face shield, in all light conditions.
More specifically in terms of optical coatings, we can supply a wide range of optical coatings in the optical and the infra-red, using oxide and semiconductor layers (with an approximate wavelength range of 300 nm – 20 microns).
- All coatings are available in the Visible, Near Infra-Red and Infra-Red.
- Anti-reflection coatings (V coats and Broadband AR), offering highly efficient AR with reflections of less than 0.5%.
- Beam splitters giving a range of Transmission/Reflection values (e.g., 50/50 or 70/30 +/- 1.5%)
- Front surface mirrors giving reflection of more than 99%
- Infra-red blocking filters (hot mirrors)
- Bandpass and edge filters
- Narrow band filters
Substrates available include a comprehensive range of glasses, sapphire, and optical polymers.
