The Diamox Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) Coating

Deposited onto glass or plastic substrates, the highly conductive transparent ITO coating is suitable for a wide range of applications. Possible applications include, for instance:

Custom ITO Coated Plastic Moldings

Frequently required to manufacture Custom ITO Coated Plastic Moldings including labels; membrane keypads, housings or, as is the case in many instances, combinations of all elements to expedite ATEX certification via authorized governing organizations/agencies, Diamond Coatings is able to deposit ITO coatings with sheet resistances ranging from 10 Ohms/sq. (EMC shielding) to 300 Ohms/sq. and over (anti-static requirements).

Diamox ITO Coating Process

After developing and perfecting the process of Diamox ITO coating, Diamond Coatings designed and erected its own Custom ITO Coated Moldings production plant.

The Diamox process is carried out at low temperatures in a vacuum and enables coating of glass and a wide range of plastics, including polycarbonate, polyester and acrylic substrates. Our flexible, unique substrate handling system makes it possible for us to coat flat and curved, as well as a variety of injection molded shapes.

Our plant has the capacity to produce Custom ITO Coated Plastic Moldings with sheet resistances between 8 and 1000 Ohms/sq and sizes up to 1000 mm x 1000 mm.

Display Filters

In addition to producing free issue Diamox ITO coated parts, we can also deliver fully machined, finished glass, polycarbonate or acrylic display filters. Also available in options incorporating anti-glare and/or scratch-resistant features, our display filters may be screen printed using standard or conductive inks.
